Fraud Risk Management
Fraud Risk Management (“FRM”) is a proactive approach in the management of fraud risks, corruption and other economic crime (also referred to as white collar crimes) within the business. The implementation of a FRM strategy enables the organisation to discover, reduce and take action before fraud, corruption and misconduct can occur. Many organisations have adopted a zero tolerance approach in the fight against fraud and corruption and in order to realise this, they have implemented the FRM strategy in their organisations.
The key components of the FRM strategy include Prevention, Detection, Investigation and Remediation. Initiatives that are undertaken under this program are formulated based on the overall best practice global strategies as adopted by industry within leading organisations.
